I had an excellent experience at the Georgia Institute of EMS. The instructors were always more than willing to help, answer questions, and make sure every student thrived. The community of students was also incredibly supportive and involved in helping each other succeed. I did the Flex program for my EMT-B certification, which allowed for me to balance my school and work schedule easier than a traditional class. It involved independent learning with lectures and textbook studies at home, as well as in class hands-on labs, ... read more
This place is amazing! I got my EMT-B certification here and learned so much, and the instructors are always ready to help and connect with you. My coach Barbara was the best and really cared about making sure I succeed. Every time you need help or don't do so well in a topic, your mentors and instructors are very helpful. I found the environment very supportive and highly recommend forming a study group with other students to attend labs together and go over practice questions with. It is very important to read the textbook... read more

I finished my 8-weeks EMT training at Georgia Institute of EMS about 2 weeks ago, the program prepared me really well and I passed the NREMT on my first try. GAIEMS coaches are really knowledgeable and helpful, they always do their best to support students and make sure you understand the practical skills. Especially Coach Barbara, Julie and DJ. They even provide valuable guidance to students after the completion of the program. I strongly recommend GAIEMS if you are considering EMT.
