My son completed the EMT program at the Georgia Institute of EMS, and it was an excellent experience. The flex program covers all the EMT content, equivalent to a traditional course. The instructors and management are highly skilled and consistently exceed students' expectations. My experience at the Georgia Institute of EMS was fantastic. While I was somewhat concerned that this course could be too short to actually learn everything, this concern faded quickly. The instructors taught the material in an easy to understand, methodical way which made learning quick and effective. I did the flex AEMT course, and I felt so much more confidence after finishing this course compared to when I took my emt course in a different state and different school years ago. It was so hands on and every instructor I had was willing to sit and teach until I had a good understanding of whatever was being done. I’ve always struggled getting a good understanding about the respiratory system, and these instructors just made it click for me a some point. I did this course when I was super pregnant as well, and the flexibil... read more
