Dr Montouris saved my life.
I regularly waited for 1.5 hrs for her appointments. Yet it was expected that you are there 15 minutes before. My last appointment, I waited about 2 hrs. At that point I'm not happy. She asked me how I was and I said, "Could be better." Her response: "What else is new?" After that I didn't make a follow up and even changed hospitals. Actually, now that I think about it,she never followed up to see if I was dead or anything. BWH has a better neurology department. My doctor is the Chief of this division AND a member of the Epi... read more
I can talk to her one on one. She takes her time with a patient. Have been goin to her for about 13 years. Have a vns, her neurosurgeon, Dr Davies, put it in.
Dr. Georgia Montouris relates to her patients and her work with her soul, not only her brilliant and deep expertise as an epileptologist. She cares about the whole person, listens, and does her best to find the "right medication in the smallest possible dosage (to avoid side-effects as much as possible) for each patient". I consider her a giant in this field and a gift to the Epilepsy Community.
She was rude to me and my longest wait time was almost 2 hours so I was forced to leave.
Dr Montouris was my daughter Amy Spence's Dr. We live in Nashville and traveled to Memphis to see her , then traveled to St Louis Missouri to see her. Wonderful and very professional and you could see she LOVED her work and patients. Thank you Dr Montouris for your help and kindness you showed to us. We miss you and if you were closer to Tennessee you would be caring for Amy again. We truly miss you.
She really listens to her patients!
I have been seeing her for only a short period of time however she hasn't been able to tell me anything about my medical concern. She also was supposed to assist with my documentation for a disability hearing, due to inability to work at this time. I have no documentation, no notification as to why it can't happen. I also had 3 seizures in the same day and wound up at the hospital, I called to inform her and schedule an appointment to no avail and she was at work today this afternoon.
7 years ago my life changed for the better simply by walking in her office. I cannot thank Dr. Montouris enough for all her assistance. Her patients are #1 & I really believe she loves making a difference in the lives of others. I highly recommend this dr. She has all the qualities we look for when we are searching for someone to help us with our loved ones. She is 1 of a kind. I would highly recommend her to everyone
