EDITING MY REVIEW HERE THE FRONT DESK PEOPLE ARE VERY RUDE I could give 0 stars for the way they talk to me. All 5 stars for doctor jay but 0 for front desk. TODAY - called them to ask if I can reschedule the appointment for next week and she said no the doctor isn’t available until Feb 19 (which was okay in understand the doctor is busy) So I asked her the wait time today and her RESPONSE - YOU ARE NOT A NEW PATIENT HERE !! The care and consideration from the staff makes me feel better about my current situation. The wait time can be frustrating. Just be prepared and know that the care that you receive is worth the wait!
Dr.Jay is brilliant and caring beyond any doctor I have know and I am an RN. When you go to her office come with the knowledge that you will have to wait. The reason is that she takes her time with each of her patients to ensure they are heard and they understand. Her cancer patients have her number… anyone else know a doctor that does that?? This is my third and forever oncologist. I've been very pleased with the care I've received from Dr. Lambert. She thoroughly read my pathology report, has listened to my concerns and remains proactive for my care. It's hard to imagine the level of relief I have knowing she's paying attention. The staff is friendly and they enjoy working together. The chemo room staff goes above and beyond. Called the location at 2712 Lawrenceville Hwy. to inquire about making an appointment for a hematologist. Not sure who's answering the phones, but she was very short and rude on the phone so opted not to go forward with the appointment. If this negative initial encounter is a reflection of the practice, it makes it hard to trust I would be treated with care and compassion.
