I am so sad to hear I am being considered a new patient after seeing Dr. Mahaffey for 15 years and birthing a child with him as my doctor. I have not seen him in 3 years, so they will no longer take me as a patient. I have loved having him as a doctor. I think since switching to Lone Star years ago, the office has just become too overcrowded and overbooked. Very disappointing!

I’ve had such a positive experience at Lone Star! The whole team is welcoming and professional, and the doctors are compassionate and knowledgeable. They take the time to listen, answer questions thoroughly, and make you feel cared for. I always leave appointments feeling supported. Highly recommend Lone Star and Dr Mahaffey to any expectant mother looking for attentive, expert care.
The whole team here is amazing! I primarily work with Dr. Pantoja, but I am happy to see anyone here because without them I wouldn't have been able to start my own family. I came to them with concerns and they took the time to listen and actually find me answers. Once we had that, then they created a plan so I could fill my dreams of being a mom. I can't say how grateful I am for the care their team provided for me!
the nicest people here are my OB Dr.Pantoja, the manager here, and the lady who draws blood. other than that, they are so not personable here, and i mean come on, you’re dealing with pregnant women all day, we’re already dealing with enough? the women at the front desk, especially the lady with black hair that’s always down, they are SOO unfriendly and ruin the visits for me and my partner every time. somehow, they always have an attitude or are upset about something like i’m the one who peed in their cheerios at breakfast. ... read more
