Such a great place with the nicest people. Historic, fine selection with a staff not in a rush or trying to push you into buying specials and garbage they can't sell. DC has a funny law about flavored cigarettes and cigars, (but you can buy vape in any flavor you want), but they're selection is great.
I have been following Georgetown Tabacco for a while now. So when I had to drop off my son to go to American university this was my chance to stop by. I am starting my journey about learning more about cigars. So when I walked it I felt a bit nervous as rookie and they will not pay any attention to me. But wow what a friendly place. The owner David is such a gracious host, as well as Teresa and the whole team. Very knowledgeable tobacconist with a great selection of premium cigars, pipes, pipe tobacco and accoutrements. As a tobacconist this old school retailer reminds me of why I enjoy this industry so much. 10/10 recommend visiting if you are ever in the DC area. I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m in town!
