I toured this apartment complex in June 2024 searching for a place for my "adopted daughter." Jane, the office manager, was so helpful, polite and knowledgeable. There were groundskeepers out working and everything looked well-maintained. The apartment, although older, was a good size and good value for the rent amount. We love that it had a washer and dryer hookup as well and the laundry area was big enough for more storage. Would recommend these apartments and Jane as a helpful person to go to for information! As soon as i applied for this apartment she was nice to me never had a problem. As soon as i had mentioned that my girlfriend was moving up here in April of 2023 & JANE KNEW ABT IT. as soon as she moved up here she started harassing us, before 8:30. & I had to bring up calling my lawyer too her bc she was discriminating me bc im gay. When i moved in i never noticed a hole in the kitchen under the sink & when i moved the 2X4 there was a hole & i could see too the bottom of the ground & our bathroom had a giant hole in the bat... read more
I do not currently live here but in the apartments behind. Georgetown has really upped their game since I lived there. They have installed new windows, the grounds look great, and the exterior lights that were broken are now working. I have heard that the fencing around the patios that's been rotting since it was installed are being replaced and the parking lot repaved.
Georgetown South Apartments are an economical solution and generally very well kept. I was particularly impressed with the Apartment Manager Jane. Jane was probably one of the most kind and caring people I have ever met in my life. When I was down and out, she baked a huckleberry pie and brought it over to my apartment to cheer me up. I have no idea where she got the huckleberries, as they generally grow only out west, but it was delicious! Thank you Jane for always brightening everyone's day!
Applied. Got a letter saying we rejected because we didn't comply with current landlord. Went to talk to Jane about it. Tried to explain our side of things. She was very rude and wouldn't even try to understand.
