We feel so grateful to have Georgetown Living taking care of Mom. Jane and Heather and the rest of the staff have been truly caring and very communicative. They really treat the residents and their families as if they are part of their own family. Their memory care is informed by the latest methods, and and they only do Alzheimer's care, so all the caregivers are well trained and very gentle with the residents. My husband “Coach” as he is known to the staff at Georgetown Living went to live with them on February 20,2021. He has been there three years, and I can’t say enough about the quality of his medical and physical care there. In a three-year period, we have been through many covid attacks and virus’. Our family has been extremely pleased with the quarantine policy and consideration of the family’s feelings about the shutdowns. I find GL to be clean and sanitary. Georgetown Living has been taking care of my Mom for a couple of years now and the staff is outstanding. They genuinely care about the people living there. It's so nice to have a small facility so she gets plenty of attention and it's super easy to visit and spend time with her. I've had no issues with her health and they have been great at accommodating various needs like physical therapy.
I am happy to recommend Georgetown Living to anyone looking for a quality facility for a loved one or family member who needs specialized memory care. My mother has been a resident for almost a year; I live close by and see her most every day. She gets the medical, nursing, doctor and therapy care she needs; the staff quickly learned her likes and dislikes (give her something chocolate and sweet and she’s your good buddy!) and they treat her with love and affection.
