I am writing to express my disappointment with my experience at George’s Watersports. From the beginning, I felt like I was treated as an inconvenience rather than a customer. I drove all the way from Grand Bay to do business with them and spent a significant amount of money on repairs. I was charged nearly $500 for a bilge pump installation, which is excessive for the work performed. When I brought my boat in, the GPS was working properly. We had the worst experience with George’s pop and shop boat store. We bought our boat a few weeks ago and had issues from the start. They took 2 weeks to install a trolling motor. During that time they didn’t call to give us updates, they actually seemed annoyed when we called to receive updates. 7 days in we decided to picked up the boat anyways even though the trolling motor was still not installed. They said they had a boat show that they prioritized before getting to our boat and asked us to bring it back the following w... read more
Terrible experience with them. After four months trying to get a warranty transferred on a boat I had to give up and go to another dealer. Within one minute the new dealer sent me the forms to fill out and submit.
Excellent experience. Helpful and knowledgeable staff was willing to listen to my questions and work with me
