Growing up outside Sheffield, I always looked forward to trips with grandpa to George’s Steak Pit. Right away, delicious smoke from roaring hickory logs hit your nose. The smells of meat and wood and fire and butt coming together in one beautiful perfume. A very polite waitress would lead us to a table for two. service is superb. Food is amazing. We travel a lot around the country and LOVE fine dinning. must admit this is the best of the best we have ate. Definitely our special occasion place to dine and just a romantic date night.

Excellent!!! We’ve decided to visit all nine small steak house of Bama. This is the first and it didn’t disappoint I was sold as we walked in an passed the pile of wood. The place was v dry authentic a little dark for me and it had a kind atmosphere and staff. The food was point on and was very tasty cooked just the way I like. After dinner the desert list was non negotiable I was having the strawberry cake and it melted in my mouth. We will be back after the other visits!!!
