This is honestly the first review i write about anything but I just couldnt let this place have such a bad reputation. I have never eaten at the restaurant but I order delivery atleast twice a week. I can not account for the service but the food is amazing and gets to my house quickly. I have tried mostly everything on the menu and everything is great. great prices too!
Short staff or short fuse?? – The website states George's goal is to provide quality, good service and great food” none of which was true for my party of six last Saturday night. Once we were given bread and water, there was a 30-45 minute wait for our food. With two birthday celebrations to attend to there was little time for the guests at our table; we had to practically beg for more bread. Friend's Review – Do you always get your friends to counter a lousy review?
Very rude owners – We have been to Georges before but never at any restaurant have we had both owners come to the table and informed us that they did not care for our attitude! After a long wait for our dinner, mediocre food, and had to ask several times for more bread we were told that they were very busy and if we weren't happy perhaps it was the wrong restaurant for us!!!! PATHETIC RESTAURANT – The food was not good. There were six of us and waited forty five minutes for our food. The salads arrived with the meal and during that time nobody came over to the table to ask if we wanted anything. The veal was like shoe leather, thin, very tough, and over cooked. Two of the other dinners were fair. The service was non existent. The restaurant was not full and nobody was waiting. We had all eaten there before but never again. The owners was very rude.
Had a great meal here on Saturday night. The food was truly excellent, great flavours, beautifully presented and was served with skill and professionalism I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Can't wait to go back.
Disappointment – I'm always searching for an outstanding Italian restaurant whenever I travel. The reviews for George's seemed to fit the bill. What stood out was how warm, attentive, and helpful were the wait staff and how delicious the food was. My experience was 180 degrees in the opposite direction. Wonderful Italian restaurant – This is a wonderful Italian restaurant with excellent food and a nicely varied menu. The atmosphere is relaxed with an outside area. The wait staff is exellent. They have a full bar, with an extraordinary list of wines, scotches and vodkas.. highly recommend this restaurant.
Greatest Restaurant – A quiet, intimate setting. A wonderful place to take a loved one or business party. Service was excellent. Food was outstanding. I highly recommend the osso buco with risotto both are delicious. Eat the fried calamary and zucchini. It is fantastic! Extremely relaxing atmosphere. Delightful staff. Would go back 100 times!!! Enjoyed every minute there.
