RecommendedWent to George’s of Galilee after a weekend on block island. I hadn’t been there in years and it didn’t disappoint! The fish tacos were amazing as was the lobster with steamers! The best part was even as tired I’m sure we looked Sydney was amazing! She came up to us right away and was inventive the whole experience! She made us feel right at home and ensured that we would be back soon! All in all a great time!

RecommendedA very big thank you to George’s from Durham, CT! Last night due to a horrible mistake by our school district bus company our high school students were left stranded at the ferry dock for hours in the dark. George’s took in our 47 students and 4 chaperones. They accommodated them with food and beverages and allowed them to stay there for over 2 hours while they waited for a replacement bus! They even kept them warm with outdoor heaters!! Your kindness is appreciated beyond measure!

I have been going to George's since I was kid. Allot of memories and not to mention awesome food! I bring my clients with regularity and family, as Georges's has never left me in disappointment. Not having this experience puts someone in the category of not a true Rhode Islander :)
Clam cakes tie size of baseballs to doughy red chowder was aweful
RecommendedI’ve only been to Rhode Island twice in my life however I loved this place so much I felt the need to recommend. Sydney helped us out and she was so genuine and kind. I felt at home with her instantly. She is always welcoming with a beautiful smile and great menu ideas. She also is a great fashionista. I had a wardrobe malfunction and she helped a fellow galpal out! Now every time I visit RI I’m going to come back to this gorgeous town and this restaurant.
RecommendedGeorge's is my #1 place to go for good eats and a good time, Sydney is the best person to pour a glass of wine or make a mean cocktail. Do yourself a favor and go see what the hype is about.
