Dr. Zimmerman is a wonderful surgeon. WHEN YOU CALL HIS OFFICE YOU GET RING NO ANSWER FOR THE LAST 11 DAYS! If his office is so busy then don't MOVE! My qualm is with his employees aka GATEKEEPERS in charge of communicating with his patients. They rarely return calls. When leaving a VOICEMAIL one would think the employee to office manager would leave their name and speak coherently. How many returned messages from Dr. Zimmerman's patients and their caregivers does it take for someone to return a call? Like how many licks doe... read more
While Dr. Zimmerman seems like a skilled surgeon, the experience with his office staff has been frustrating. Between Friday, April 12th and today, Thursday, April 18th, we've left multiple messages over several days with the hope of getting some follow-up care questions answered. Unfortunately, no one from the office has returned our calls. A great doctor deserves a great team and unfortunately the communication from Dr. Zimmerman's staff falls short.
I can highly recommend Dr. Zimmerman. He repaired my 97 year old mother's broken femur, and everything from his bedside manner, to his communication skills and follow-up were first rate! Outstanding team at St. Francis as well.
He is very professional. He shows love because he cares. I trusted him from the beginning. And he told very good care for me. My primary doctor can’t believe that I’m walking so fast.I would do a commercial for him also.
Dr Zimmerman was very pleasant during my pre-visit and post-op. It was during my recovery I felt like just another number to him. My IT bind wouldn't allow my knee to bend so I can put on my shoe. Its been a year and I continue to have problems with my knee bending, it pops in several locations. I was also told I would never be able to kneel down on my knee eventhough other people with the same surgery has accordingto Dr Zimmerman.
