Excessive wasted time waiting for this doctor, appointments are not respected withing reasonable waiting time, not 1 hour and a half after your initial schedule time.
Business response:
Our cardiology practice takes care of many patients with complex and serious cardiac diseases. Many patients come in urgently during every office visit for immediate attention. In addition, we try our best to accommodate everyones needs for an appointment. Many patients need to be seen immediately for urgent cardiac clearances in order to avoid postponing their operations. Therefore, at times, you might be delayed an hour to be seen.
First time will never go back. Wait for over an hour!!! Then i left without being seen.I understand taking time with your patients. If you want to spend time with patients then you shouldn't schedule as many appointments. I gave up my whole day to not be seen. Receptionist is very good at giving excuses, but i as well as the other patients that walked out could have been informed they were running behind. Extremely hot in the office. I can nor rate the dr because i was not seen.

RUUDE this guy is aggressive and rude with his patients - his office is very dirty also and he made me wait 2 hours to see him. Terrible experience

I must say your comments are very inconsistent with the care I give my patients. We also searched our data bank for an Andrew from Newark, Nj in order to reach out to you but we couldn't find you in our system.
Dr. Stoupakis is good. listen to you and explains everything. Spends time with you. The waiting room does not feel clean. When you go to the window to check in, it is cluttered, and a microwave and toaster oven are in plan site. The girls were eating food. Soda bottles in plain site. Not very professional. You always have a 1 1/2 to 2 hour wait.
Aggressive approach (not necessarily in a good way). Staff can be rude and not considerate to the needs of the patient
My primary physician recommended me to see Dr. Stoupakis due to my heart palpitations and shortness of breath. I waited 2 hours to be seen. They (Dr's staff) were supposed to request a precertification from my insurance for a stress test, not only did they send the request a week late but they also scheduled the wrong test at the hospital. They also scheduled me for a heart sonogram and when I showed up for the appt. they said the schedule was for a different time.I will not go back there again

We can not obtain precertifications on patients without seeing them first without a consultation. Our staff begins obtaining precertifications within 48 hours of being seen. Quite often, it is the insurance company, or precertification company, the prolongs the process. Also, hospital procedures are scheduled only by the hospital scheduling department. Our office has no authorization over that.
