The job completed on time and quickly. I was not informed that both springs were replaced. That's not a problem with me except the lack of communication.
I originally called A1 and was told I needed new springs on a 2 year old door at a cost of $1000. Harley from George and Sons came out, adjusted the tension and made some minor adjustments for $105. Lesson: A1 Garage Doors are dishonest and George & Sons the exact opposite.

George & Sons is just an outstanding garage door service. I have used them to re-balance/ tighten springs on doors; install replacement garage door opener unit I had purchased new; replace sets of springs; and provide and install very large/ heavy garage door opener unit (have 3 solid wood doors on 20+ year old home). Have used them since 2019 on numerous jobs, recommend to friends and neighbors. Technical Expertise, Responsive all the time, Fair pricing, Consistent -- just a complete win for customer.
Excellent. Corrected the problem and re-adjusted the door so it will now go all the way to the garage floor.
