He was the only DDS I could find in my area in network. I went to him with 6 cavities. He did the work and always was rushing. He has a bunch of hygienists do all of the prep work and then rushes from room to room to complete fillings. Most of the time he works on another patient mid way though your filling. Anyways, I have since moved away and went back to my family dentist I had been going to since a child. ALL 6 cavities George Skoog filled have decay underneath the filling. I can understand one or maybe 2 of them having ... read more

I had a horrible experience there. None of my dental problems were ever treated and yet I ended up seeing the dentist every month for about 6 months for "cleanings." The hygenists do a more thorough job than the doctor himself. He is very rushed and spends very little time...never really treating the main problems. I will never go back to that office again.

he's ok, does a good job...I don't like that they don't have voicemail and they force you to schedule an appt regardless of whether or not you know if you are available. Without VM to reschedule you end up having to call them multiple times if they are on lunch.

All of my experiences have been fair to very poor, and I've been seeing Dr. Skoog for 20 years (couldn't switch because I was under my parents' dental plan). Dr. Skoog seems to take a very "hands off" approach; he's not about preventative dental health, that's for sure. He prefers to wait until something goes wrong and forces you to make a series of appointments scheduled over several months for treatment that should/could be taken care of quickly. It's not uncommon to go in for a cleaning and then wait 2-5 months for a fill... read more

Dr Skoog is great. I have been going to him for over 15 years and my 10 year old son has been going at least twice a year since he was 2. Dr. Skoog is patient with me - I get very anxious. He is great with my son who has had at least 3 cavities filled. He is virtually painless!

Dr. Skoog is average at best. Not proactive with care. Feel like he is hoping for the worst so more work can be done. Heavy turn over of staff. Has very specific hours for answering the phone which is 50 % of the time the office is open for business. Practice is not patient friendly. Billing errors due to the low level hourly staff he has hired to work the reception desk.

Doctor Skoog is very good. I feel very relaxed and comfortable around him. He has a lot of appoints , he good. If you don't fill out the mailer card or take the "next appointment card" of course your not going to remember easliy. Goerge is very good, go to him.

He seems Ok. I would have to concure with review #1... There seems to be a lot of appointments and do feel that most of them could be combined. The thing that bothers me the most is the fact that my future appointments are made ahead of time without asking me or letting me know. I've had Dr. Skoog call me up at work and ask me why I'm not at my appointment... "What Appointment, I didn't know I had an appointment. When did this happen?" I did complain and got the "You must have made it sometime..." deal. Didn't buy it. The ot... read more

First went to him for my daugther's cracked crown which he came in afterhours and did a nice job. We started going to him from that point for crowns, fillings, cleaning, bonding, retainers etc. Personally I like him and think he's a good dentist. Most of his techs are conscientious and able. A few of his reception staff are outrageously rude and arrogant and I flat refuse to deal with one woman for her arrogance. Prices he is about average but I find they make too many appointments for things that can be combined into one vi... read more
