Called ahead over 24 hours and placed a reservation and when arrived stood at the door for 10 minutes and all the tables full with no estimated wait time. Disappointing since this place was highly recommended by others.
When i come up from missouri, I always stop at George’s steak house. Where else can you buy a steak diner for around 20 bucks and get full. Always great food. The steaks are perfect . Amazing cooks and staff keep this place going. And George , he’s a pretty great guy. From your Missouri painter. Well see you guys soon .
We haven’t been in New Ulm in over 6 years. When we planned our vacation out west this year we decided to make one of our stops New Ulm so we could have dinner at George’s. Everything was just as fabulous as it has always been. From the melt in your mouth biscuits & honey butter, the delicious homemade salad dressings & yummy crouton, the awesome baked potato, the perfectly cooked steaks and walleye. Just fabulous!!! If you are in the area George’s is a must!
Just Wow! Had the Ribeye with the Spring Old Fashioned chaser. Ribeye was cooked and seasoned perfect. George’s potatoes are amazing. Don’t reach for the A1 or Heinz. You won’t need it. The OF was top notch. Fabulous service. Great atmosphere. Price is on point . Go! You won’t be disappointed .
