I first spoke with George this spring about our kitchen restoration project. It didn't take long to figure out that he was the best choice for this project. He truly had is finger on the pulse of what my wife and I were trying to accomplish with this kitchen restoration. His work is excellent, and he is very good with communication and idea generation. His work for us included cabinetry, counter tops, and a beautiful breakfast nook banquette made of 100+ year old reclaimed wood. So, if you are looking for someone to create p... read more

George replaced two very important valet key cabinet doors at the hotel I work at. This cabinet has a magnetic lock and contains all of the keys for our guest's vehicles. Having them replaced, and quickly was paramount. George came in and took some measurements, and the next day, both doors were replaced. I was able to repaint them immediately and put them back in service. I highly recommend the skills of this man. Very pleased and I will be a repeat customer.

We actually liked our old kitchen, but it wasn't functional. We dragged our feet, but finally decided to replace all of the cabinets, top and bottom, so that we had the depth required for a dishwasher. George had the best design idea of the people we consulted, and the best price for the quality of materials and workmanship he offered. He was easy to work with, a good listener, responsive to email, coordinated and worked well with our contractor, and the end result is beautiful. We are very happy that we redid our kitchen, a... read more

George is amazing! He was incredibly easy to work with, he did a great job of guiding me through the decision making, providing expert insights and keeping me up to speed with the timeline. He was even able to accommodate my request an additional cabinet on install day, the design just needed it! My kitchen cabinets are gorgeous but not just that, they are also sturdy, functional and did I mention gorgeous. His product is worth every penny! The first thing folks say when then enter my kitchen is "Wow, look at those cabinets!... read more

We found George through his website and were so blessed to work with him on our home renovation! He is meticulous in his work, a problem solver, creative and artistic. Whenever a problem arose, George worked hard to find a solution that met our needs and design preferences. I have no hesitations in recommending George and his team for any job you have!

George built a beautiful custom sideboard for our 1917 craftsman bungalow in Laurelhurst. He was able to meticulously match the dimensions of what had originally been there (the original had been removed by previous owners), and this one looks like it's always been there. I would highly recommend George to anyone needing custom cabintery, furniture or any other period details for their home.

George's work exceeded our expectations. We are thrilled with the custom cabinet doors he built and installed in our dining area. We had a large area of open shelving and needed to close the shelves up to create more "behind closed doors" storage! He always returned my calls/texts in a timely manner. I would certainly recommend George's work and will certainly be using him for future projects.

I hired George to do the cabinets for a kitchen remodel I was doing in Portland. The job was very specific and had lot's of details. He worked very closely with my client and I, met deadlines, and was very professional. The kitchen cabinets were built very well and quality was great. He was great to work with and my client is very happy with her new kitchen.

George did a wonderful job with our project, which included built-in bookcases on either side of our fireplace and a built-in buffet in our dining room. I felt he really listened to our vision, which helped us collaborate on a mock up / design that fit the look and feel of our home. Once we settled on the final design and price, he provided a realistic timeline and delivered accordingly. I really enjoyed working with him and would recommend him for any fine wood working project you may have.
