I had a new gas water heater installed with an expansion tank beginning of 2022 due to ongoing dripping of my heater. The installer used the old expansion tank that was purchased from them in 2019. However that did not fix the problem. It kept dripping. I called 4x and was told that I live in a high water pressure area and that is the problem.
