I was looking for a new dentist due to the fact that my previous dentist told me that I needed a deep cleaning (which is not covered by insurance) in addition to my regular cleaning. She was also "discovering" cavities which I am now certain did not exist. A friend recommended Dr. Kesten. Dr. Kesten was straightforward, funny, but most importantly honest. He spent a long time with me answering my questions. He did not push any unnecessary services on me. I highly recommend Dr. Kesten!!!
Dr. Kesten has the best bed side mannor of any professional that I've solicited. His staff is friendly, he makes jokes, overly friendly, and knows how to do his dentist stuff. I had an incident where I fell on my face and damaged three teeth. After 3 visits my smile is perfect and you wouldn't know I had any work done unless I told you. I still go to him for regular checkups and each time is a pleasant experience. If you're anywhere near his office, check to see if he's included; you won't be disappointed.
Top grade dentist. Great chairside manner. Good jokes, too. Keeps you smiling!! Sends you away feeling and lookng great. Outstanding staff.
Dr Kesten and his entire staff are excellent, efficient, understanding, and have the big picture for dental health! I cannot imagine going to anyone else.
I am very, very happy with Dr. Kesten's services. I previously was a patient of his partner, Dr. Fellman, when they were in DC, and I shifted to Dr. Kesten them he went into sole practice in Chevy Chase. Dr. Kesten did my last crown, and was very, very patient and persistent in getting it just right when I was having trouble adjusting to the new crown. Great dentist. Great hygenist and friendly staff. Wonderful environment.
I knew Dr. Kesten when his office was in Quebec House on Porter Street,NW. Now he's in Chevy Chase the parking is pricier, but he's still worth following. Very friendly, relaxing, reassuring. I believe he still treats most of the folks in my old office. Pam keeps his calendar and runs the front office - you'll want to make friends with her - she's a gem!
Great staff, and Dr. Kesten never pushes expensive treatments when he doesn't think you really need them.
Superlative in all ways for both my husband and me. Nothing more to add.
