as an injured worker Dr chovanes was chosen by Alaska worker's comp board to perform physical evaluation on me, i had high hope for him since he would be the second doctor to evaluate my conditions, unfortunately for some reason that i still don't understand as he supposed to be a neutral independent doctor, he falsified the report in many instances the most obvious one is when he stated that i can walk heel with no problem and reflexia in both of my legs is symmetric while with POLIO at an early age left me with so many pro... read more

Caring and congenial bedside manner. Took the time to listen to my situation. Subsequently, Dr. Chovanes and I collaborated to design a supportive plan of care. As a retired physician, both Doc and staff exceeded my highest expectations!!
The only drawback of my experience with this practice was my initial phone appointment details. I arrived at the OAA building fully expecting--and having prepared for, re attire and mind set--an MRI, as per the directions given me on the phone call made to schedule my scoliosis appraisal appointment. I was informed that this was not the case at the check-in at this rather large facility.
