As someone who has spent most of their life in Galt, and living on the west side, I'm glad Hancock Pool is still there. A few years ago, I heard it was going to close down, and I thought that was sad, since I know it's a happy place for most of the people who live near it. I know this because whenever I walk or bike past, I hear the sound of people having fun - that's enough for me, I don't need to swim in it myself. My speedo days are over...for now. Nice ,clean pool to swim. The water is heated. The associates and lifeguards were friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this pool.
