STAY AWAY from Hitzel Dental. I was a super happy patient for 8 YEARS, and I was completely lied to by their unprofessional office staff. They will double/over charge you and will make several EXCUSES as to why they double charged you. Make sure to call SEVERAL times BEFORE your appointment to ensure they still carry your insurance or dental plan - they WILL NOT be forthcoming to tell you this info until it comes time to pay. My experience with this practice was one that lacked professionalism. The staff does not return calls unless pressured. I believe there is some insurance scamming going on too. They requested deep root scaling from my insurance and when I showed xrays to another professional, I only needed a routine cleaning. I am reporting them to my carrier. Totally disappointed in the staff altogether! I would never go to this office again!
