Worked there (5) years. The employee owned setup really isn’t any different than other companies. You have no say over who you work with, what projects you work on, what you get paid, or your bonus. They can still let you go anytime for any reason even if it’s super petty and your employee ownership means nothing. Literally nothing. Those decisions are still made by just a few people who are all friends. For me in particular, we had some outstanding years where I played a part.
