I was craving shrimp and grits and to my surprise, saw that Gentleman Jim’s had it for breakfast. I was excited and had to try it. It was good but I think it could be better. First, serve it in a nice big round bowl, not an appetizer sized rectangular plate. It’s a main course so presentation matters. Second, it was way too saucy and salty. Too much going on. July 11, 2025 @ 10:45 pm update, once again, not caring about the noise level of the band playing out.of.the restaurant. Disturbing the neighborhood. If I can hear the music inside my condo, it's too loud. Not cool at all. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I'm a nurse and I go to bed by 9 pm for early morning shifts on Saturday and Sunday mornings. When it's warm out they have a band playing outside disturbing the entire neighborhood.
