Robert Whalen did a root canal on my teeth. then I got an infection afterwards. then a few months later told me that I wasn't allowed back at his office. not a very nice guy, too old to be working on teeth. I will spread the word about this horrible experience with this dentist. ☹️😡😠
Not only did this dentist get mad at me while I was sedated for coughing, but was irritated that his fillings fell out of my teeth. He had a melt down while he was filling my teeth the second time. The dental dam was not cooperating, so he was pretty rough on me. I would not ever recommend this dentist to anyone. Extremely unprofessional.
The dental assistant and receptionist are great, But Dr. Whalen should NOT have a license. The last 2 appointments I went to, one for myself to address a painful cavity and my wife's appointment today, Dr. Whalen had a tantrum right in front of us. At my appointment he got mad because he wanted to do a root canal on a tooth that is causing me no problems on one side of my mouth, and not address the cavity on the other side that was bothering me. Don’t get me wrong the receptionist is amazing along with the dental assistant. The dentist is horrible! He tried to work on a tooth I had already got a filling on. I also told him I got a root canal done, he got upset that I got this care done somewhere else. I told him I needed to get the care done because I was in pain and my next appointment with him wasn’t for another two months I couldn’t go in pain for two more months that was impossible. He was rude and unwelcoming I got up and left I will never go back!
DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!! I started going to Dr Whalen about a year ago when I had to get a root canal done. I had discomfort the whole time after and told him before he went to put a crown on the same tooth a few weeks ago he said it couldn’t be still hurting because he had done a root canal on it and the tooth was dead. He did the crown put on the temp and I left. A week later I went back in in much pain and a definitely abbsessed tooth. Dentists are pretty much the only thing that scares me. Well Gentle Dental has Totally changed that for me!!! Beginning with CHRISTINA the receptionist, this girl is Amazing!! She is Very pleasant upon check in and check out.
