I am an independent caregiver and I have given care to many different families during hospice care. Wow, what a difference between the different groups! Gentiva is far beyond the rest!! Josh is knowledgeable, cari ng, excellent communicator, timely responses, and has become a highlight of our week with his visits. Darlene is also fantastic. Pat & Tracy are a wonderful duo! Mom instantly loved them and often tells us how much she appreciates their kind and professional care. Pat faithfully checks in with me via phone or text every time she sees Mom. So very helpful to get those regular updates. She is proactive in suggesting adjustments to Mom’s care and medication but is also open to our input as a family. Tracy provides loving care - Mom looks forward to her showers! All of the nurses are attentive, competent and compassionate. Josh is a very insightful clinician who tries to anticipate the care needed so he can mitigate any complications which may make the course of care more uncomfortable.
