We have been using Gentiva Hospice in Athens for our mom going on two years now. I can not say enough wonderful things about them! Ashton, Maureen, Martha and so many others have helped make this difficult time so much easier to handle. They go above and beyond to help our mom and all of us as her caregivers. So a big thank you to all of them!!

Our family had a very upsetting experience with this hospice during my aunt’s final days. At a time when compassion, comfort, and dignity should have been the priority, we were met with rigid and frankly alarming guidance. While my aunt was actively dying, we were told she needed to be fed, despite clear signs that her body was shutting down. My family had the worst experience with this company,I would not recommend them at all!! Very poor communication and they did not want to get her comfortable in her last days! They don't even deserve the star it made me put here they deserve minus stars!

Gentiva gave exceptional care to my mom before she passed. Hallidee Hunt was wonderful and walked me through all the steps of getting my mom under their services. When it came to my mom, I only wanted the best care and that is what she received! Thank you so much!
