My wife and i stopped in randomly while in Alton doing some shopping. What an awesome experience. We sat right at the window with a nice view of the river. We both had a Caesar salad which which was awesome. Their pork chop was cooked to perfection. and the gooey butter cake was on point. Overall we were beyond pleased and will for sure make it back to eat!

We have been there 3 times in 5 weeks. We sat at the bar all 3 times. The food was great but the one bartender is to preoccupied with her hair constantly playing with it putting it up and then back down all be hind the bar. Can’t even notice a empty beer bottle when you put it on the edge of the bar closest to her. The food was great hope the kitchen staff has better hygiene when cooking food. Great food, awesome service...will definitely dine there again.
Zero things on the menu are vegan. The waiter did not know what vegan meant and tried to serve a dish with cheese because it is vegetarian. We were then told that cheese could not be removed from any dish on the menu (which is ALL of them). They then brought us bread with butter and cheese. They also tried to push a beef-based sauce. No one that works in food service should be this clueless.
