Terrible company
Waste of time and money - don’t trust them ! I needed a specific genetic test - cost me $199 for them to tell me that they can’t order the test that I need because it’s not available - even though the test is advertised as being available
Beware. You will get a bill from this company that is separate from the actual genetic testing company's estimate. This is a third party company that just orders the test and charges you for a consultation with no estimate ahead of time of how much it will cost you. In my case all the testing came back negative which I could have read for myself. I got genetic testing done over a year ago and was super happy with the process. Now, I'm extremely unhappy. I was told and assured multiple times I would only pay $200. They gave me the codes so I could check that my insurance would cover it, and they did in fact cover the codes I was given. Now, over a year later, I received a bill for over $1,300 from the company they use to do the testing. They submitted different codes that were not approved by my insurance. After learning most local to us hospitals had a 12+ month wait for a genetics appointment, I found Genome Medical online. Within 24 hrs I had an appointment for my child and genetic tests ordered. The genetic counselor spent 45 minutes with us making sure she understood my child’s symptoms, and we understood what the genetic testing would be able to tell us. The best part is my 14 year old was able to participate in the entire appointment. Highly recommend
