Easy to reach by phone, and helpful, understanding, and professional staff. I reached out after trying to transfer my rx from out of state while visiting family; i needed them to fill out and fax a form to my insurance and they listened to me and followed through, unlike every Walgreens in the area i tried working with first (Walgreens is my home pharmacy). I needed a real person to treat my situation with respect and care, and Genoa pharmacy delivered. Thank you!
I just made Genoa Healthcare my main pharmacy and, odd as it is to say, I had a really great experience that left a positive impression on me. I picked up a script and there was not a long wait at all. The place was clean, and it's kind of tucked away from the streets. The staff were friendly and we even joked about my $2 single pill script breaking the bank. Pretty good.
For a pharmacy they weren't too bad, however when you repeatedly send meds im nolonger taking, and continue to have some random pills in with my regular prescriptions (same bottle different pills that if I weren't paying attention could be really bad.) They need to be honestly checked out for that, including having a few broken or missing pills mixed in, its plain dangerous. Fix it.
I called Friday to get my rx transferred to Portland. Its now Tuesday; They didn't even have the certosy to call me and tell me they couldn't refill it. so after calling the dr office and my pharmacy to see why I can't transferred this rx that is refillable. 1st of all my pharmacy has to put it back on the shelf. The they finally get the rx cleared. Just for the pharmacy to say we can have it ready tomorrow. Sir your pharmacy closes @ 5:30pm. Thanks for putting the pt 1st.
