If I could give zero stars, I would. We finished a $75,888.00 job as an HVAC subcontractor for Genoa back in November of 2023. We were promised the 10% retainage to be paid to us at the completion of the job. We finished required closeout documents on November 17th. On December 14, we were told that Genoa could not pay us the retainage because the owner of the project had not paid them.
