Bad owner
I liked the variety of merchandise that is carried there. The owner has to be the rudest and horrible person to do buisness with. I have not been back in this store after the way I was treated. She has a lot to learn when it comes to working with the public. The return policy is horrible too. There are places all over Chatt that will treat you well and they carry just as good or better merchandise.

Wishing there was something better!
This place carries good merchandise, great prices on Vera Bradley, but that is all the good I can say about it. The owner is very unfriendly, to the point of being snooty, as well as some of the staff. The return policy is totally ridiculous! You can not return a clearance item, even if you purchased it the day before. Not even to exchange it for a different item. Once you buy it you are stuck! If there was another store in or near Chattanooga that carried the same amount of Vera Bradley, and had competitive prices, I would go there in a second!

Awesome store
Genevieve Bond is the most amazing gift store I have ever been to. It literally is filled with anything and everything I could ever want / need. The selection of Vera Bradley is the best I have seen- I found every piece that I wanted and it was in stock. The staff is really friendly as well. I had a great experience.

Unconventional holiday return policy
I have loved Genevieve Bond until now. They have a great selection of Vera Bradley as well as other neat things. However, they do have an odd return policy, in my opinion. I received a gift for Christmas that was purchased at Genevieve Bond. It's not my style; I don't need/want it; I will never use it. I went there to return it and immediately purchase something else I found on sale. Their policy is that holiday items are not returnable - for any reason. Not holiday items purchased on sale. Holiday items. Period. I expected to have the 20% restocking fee imposed as well as having the price slashed 50% because all holiday merchandise was on sale and was willing to adhere to these restrictions. But, nothing happening. No deal. No return at all. I said to the sales person, "So I'm stuck with this." And she replied, "Yes." Great customer relations, huh?
