I want to share a negative experience about this business. The work performed, which was the replacement of an exterior hose bib, was fine, but I was way over charged. The time spent actually on my property replacing the hose bib took just over an hour, but I was charged for a total of 2.5 hours (@ $150/hour) due to the company's policy to charge the customer for the plumber's travel (at the full rate of $150/hr) by starting the clock once the plumber leaves his previous job. I am writing to highlight the unfair business practices at Genevie Plumbing. I have done business with the company at least couple time over the last 2 years, and I must say the latest experience was absolutely abhorrent - to say the least. I reached out to Genevie Plumbing back on 06/10/17 in need of finding the source of a leak that had began to damage the kitchen cabinets in my home.
