When given consent paperwork, I was reading through it and the surgeon, very impatiently and rudely said, "This isn't a contract, I can assure you it's all very standard, just sign it, you don't need to read it"... uhm that's a red flag right there that I DO need to read it. Some poor fumbling nurse was meanwhile trying to put a catheter in my vein while I'm trying to read... plus the care I received was god awful, when I was finally transferred to my own hospital, my multiple doctors and nurses commented on everything from ... read more

I was surprised to read the previous reviews. My experience was the complete opposite. Last year my dad had a MAJOR medical emergency. After it was determined he would not survive transportation to Rochester, the medical team pulled off a miracle. Since I live in Ohio and wasn't able to get a flight out until the next morning, the surgeon himself called me to explain the situation and the plan.The team kept me informed of this progress all night.
