It’s located in a beautiful remote place, the accommodations are awesome and all the staff are really good caring people who make you feel like family. Genesis Recovery offered everything that my grandson needed to recover from his addiction. They provided a faith based, clinical, and therapeutic system with others who went through Genesis before him to share God’s Love and Grace. Genesis location is in a beautiful, serene location in San Diego’s East County. God Bless Genesis Recovery, and those serving these men.
This place changed my life and brought God back into my life!
First program I went to, so I didn't know what to compare it too. After being sober now for over 8 months, and meeting people who REALLY care to help, I've realized that the people at Genesis did not have good intentions, and were very "clicky". It was pretty much a fraternity. There were exceptions, like my Sponsor who worked the kitchen, and a couple other friends that really did seem to care and help, but for the most part.. I wouldn't recommend Genesis. Especially if you have already tried a program.
Really good program, really good food and great staff that really cares about the residents. This place helped me during a bad time and gave me the tools I needed to succeed. Would recommend this place to anyone struggling
These are genuinely good people. They don't just treat you, they bring you into a family, a new way of life. This program significantly improved my quality of life and gave me a valuable support network as well.
