Updating my review to affirm the 5 stars and great service from Genesis Portland. JD delivered the car as scheduled to my home in Everett WA. By his own admission, JD was not an expert on the GV70EV but he introduced me remotely to Brodie. All my questions have been answered. A minor issue was also successfully resolved - the car arrived without a level 1 portable charger. JD promptly sent me one, including also 240V portability for faster charging (better than expected). I've had my Genesis GV70 Electrified for over a year now and I've had it in for service about 3 times, one of which was a recall. The service department is a pleasure to deal with. They show a sincere interest in ensuring that my car is working as it should be and they're not happy if I'm not happy. What more could I ask?
Overall much more impressed compared to the Genesis of Vancouver. Due to that experience I did call beforehand to make sure all parts for the recall were in and I verified the recall and 30,000 tune up could be done in one day. In that initial call I was assured that yes it would be no issue. This was particularly important because I had a 2 hour drive as there are no closer Genesis service departments. Sales Manager, Moon, is a true professional. My grandfather recently passed away and left the family his 2024 Genesis GV70. Because we didn’t need the vehicle, we asked Moon for assistance given my grandpa purchased the car at Genesis of Portland. Moon was a professional over the phone, demonstrating compassion and helped our family. He even came to the warehouse the vehicle was stored in and picked it up and delivered the check.
