I recently went to one of the local Genesis dealers because I had a problem with discoloration on the passenger front seat on a G70 that I'd recently purchased. The seat had some light blue discoloration leaching through from below and left a "shadow" on the white quilted leather interior. Purchased a 2024 V80 last Friday and as of tonight, its dead in our garage and being towed back to the dealership tomorrow morning. I am very disappointed and beyond angry. When we showed up to pick up the car we were told the battery was dead and it had been fully charged. The battery should have been replaced if it was dead! Also non of the paperwork was ready when we got there to pick up the vehicle. Update February 2025 - only 10 months after purchasing a brand new Genesis G90 e Supercharger, I had enough of this dealership’s pathetic service and immediately drove across the street and traded my Genesis in for a brand new 2025 BMW X5. The customer service level and professionalism between BMW and Genesis/Hyundai was night and day. I will never ever consider purchasing a Genesis in the future unless they create a separate Genesis only dealership that is separate and independent from a Hyundai dealership.
