Do you guys answer your phones? Been calling g for 2 days to schedule a service for the recall
This place is full of scammers. My fiance bought a new 2023 GV70 from here and as of 1/24/25, the battery is already dying. The whole reason she bought the car was for peace of mind. Which she thought she was getting when the car came with a 10-year/100,000 mile warranty. When I took in her car, they even said the battery was under warranty and that they would take care of it, as long as I pre-authorized an $180 fee for a battery test "in the event they find the malfunction to not fall under warranty". I purchased my Genesis GV80 out of state due to lack of availability and have been using Genesis of Dearborn for service. I'll admit that I would have given the organization a much worse rating a couple of days prior to my service appointment today. The scheduling process is broken - the website had no availability so I decided to call and see if something was available. Leased a 2024 Genesis GV80 through LaFontaine Hyundai/Genesis. Had a great experience working with Ali Iskander – he was patient in showing me all of the vehicles I was interested (we test drove 5 over the course of 2 weeks) and was very personable, too. Also had positive experiences with his manager, Sean. The experience will be even better once the standalone Genesis showroom opens (right now, they operate out of the Hyundai one on the same street). Would recommend!
Brought a Genesis .Very smooth buying experience . Joel was very helpful and professional . Ben helped the documentation on a busy day and the whole process was done in less than 2 hrs . Only unhappy thing was I had to buy a car which had preinstalled diamond coating which I didn't need. I would recommend this place any day . #update : they are not taking up service calls
