I joined Genesis Charlestown on 7 August 2018 after life had been getting me down. My partner had passed away and I was surviving (not living) with PTSD. Almost two years later and hardly a day goes past when I'm not either there or at the Warners Bay Club! I can so passionately say that Mitch & Tess founded something in me back then that has prompted me to try a little harder every day and my mental + physical health has drastically improved. this an an awesome gym with great equipment and friendly helpful staff. It has the feel of a boutique gym.
Have never been much of a gym person, but Charlestown has a great community feel. I think everyone accepts that we are all trying to live our best lives and look after ourselves, Experience and appearance aren't the focus, having a go and improving is. Tess and Mitch are welcoming and friendly
Small but it's got everything you could ever need.
Excellent advice and service, easily motivated to get any work out done. All the guess work and planning is provided.
