I give them one star because there's no way to give them cero. I made an appointment to have Genesee Oil take a look at my furnace purchased from them in 2011 that was making noise when it started . A technician from Cascade Oil (part of Genesee) showed up and after taking the blower apart in a few minutes, told me that the head cone of the blower was shut. We really value Genesee Fuel and the service they provide us. Our previous (and very good) fuel company, ******* ****was bought by Genesee a few years ago and they provided a seamless service transition. They've always been super-responsive to our service requests and their team - techs, delivery team, customer service, and accounting - are highly professional and knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. Very difficult company to communicate with. Really terrible service. Unfortunately, if you have an oil tank in Seattle, there are very few other options for getting it filled up. Today is about 30 degrees. Called Genesee Oil around 10am this morning to come and service it. We have a contract with them so that emergency services are available to us. Around 3pm, I get a bill via my email account saying that my oil tank was filled up (it wasn't empty to begin with). But when they arrived, they never called us or let us know the... read more

I am sorry that the customer had a poor experience. We always try to do what is right for our customers. In this case, our dispatcher was trying to get the customer the quickest solution and prevent an unnecessary and costly service call. The customer reached our on call dispatch around 10am this morning with no heat, furnace not working.
