John is the best mechanic!
We have been taking our cars to John at three locations and five vehicles. The service has always been honest, friendly, and the prices are great. I have recommended him many times and will continue to do so. People always thank me for sending them to him.
I came in with a serious brake issue, found out that my caliper was missing bolts and it could’ve ended in disaster if I kept driving. Without hesitation, John took the time to diagnose the problem, explain it clearly, and then fixed it on the spot. John has taken outstanding care of my families and their vehicles for over 20 years! Bought new truck in 2015 so I didn’t see him for a long time. Now that it’s not new anymore I went back to get some work done. The honesty, integrity, and knowledge are still paramount for this company I see. I called Genesee Auto Care by referral after a really bizarre a terrible 2x experience with a smog shop in Bay Park. John took the time to talk to me over the phone to give me sound and honest advice when he really had nothing to gain by doing so - my car was already repaired and I was ready to clear smog (long story). Regardless, he made me feel SO comfortable throughout our conversations and I was able to bring my car to him to look at as well as have his partner/neighbor perform my smog check.
