I went in to find out why I have a chronic cough. I asked for a doctor, not a nurse. I was given an APRN. She wanted lab tests for A1C, cholesterol, says I need more vitamin D. Kidneys are fine liver fine. Suggested colonoscopy and mammogram. She ordered a chest X-ray which came back normal. So burned up a couple days of leave, spent some hard earned cash….. still have a fat zero of ideas as to why I cough all the time for over a year. And no one seems at all interested or concerned.
