Dr. Youssef is everything you want in your surgeon. He was not quick to rush surgery, and wanted to see if conservative measures would help me. In the end, I ended up needing to get surgery either way but Dr. Youssef helped put me at ease and explained my condition so that it was easy to understand. Dr. Youssef did my emergency surgery the second week of January. I had been admitted due to abdominal pain. His staff was determined to find the cause, and did. I had a non function gallbladder. I have never been taken care of with such care and compassion from a hospital or doctor. Once I had my procedure I was completely out of pain. I went home the same day, I am 6 days post op and have resumed my normal every day life aside from lifting heavy things. He is by far the best surgeon. I had to have my gallbladder removed urgently so I didn’t have a choice on my surgeon. I am so grateful that I was assigned to Dr. Youssef and his team! I had the best care and felt so comfortable! I was hesitant and nervous about it and he and the PA Courtney explained everything and made me feel comfortable getting it done that day. I’m healing very well after surgery as well. I highly recommend this team. They are easy to talk to, listen well and answer all questions without any judgment or making you feel rushed!
