General Lewis Inn! I'm from New Jersey, and I came to visit my brother in the Osteopathic School. He took us to this inn for breakfast one morning before our departure, and I was so impressed. First off, the environment is so full of life and local culture. Disappointed We had heard of the wonderful reputation of this inn, and we made a special trip to try it. It is an old building, and it does have a lot of antiques. It was interesting to look at them, but we found that a lot like visiting a very small historical museum. Our interest was in a comfortable place to spend the night and good food. The beds and other furniture were old and not too comfortable. The food was average. We thought we would have been more comfortable in a modern chain motel and paid a more reasonable pri... read more
