The first quart of General Finishes product in my household was in the late 1990s. We pulled the carpet off of the steps, put down oak treads, and finished them with Seal-A-Cell and Arm-R-Seal. General Finishes Java Gel is my favorite product. I took an oak kitchen table and chairs, that had not sold at The Red Door, Allendale, MI for over a year, and finished it with Java Gel and it sold the next day!!! It makes old things look new in a simple wipe on process.

General Finishes is hands down the best quality product on the market. I use it over and over again when re-purposing and refinishing furniture. I know I can count on the quality each and every time. Use the milk paints, the chalk style paints, and the topcoats and love them all!
