I love General Finishes Gel Stains. They go on nicely and smooth. I have received numerous compliments on the top of an entertainment stand I refinished.
I have been using their HPTC in flat and satin and loved it the very first time I used it. I own a furniture painting business so I only use top quality products. Thanks General Finishes!
I absolutely love general finish products. My favorite is the java gel stain
RecommendedI used Arm-R-Seal Semi Gloss on my Walnut/Maple dining table and I was blown away at how easy it was to use and how hard the finish is. I recommend giving your projects a good 3-4 weeks to fully and completely cure though. After about a week it still felt too soft. But it's been two months now and it's great. I also recommend using a sponge brush when you can, it leaves a much thicker coat and a cleaner finish job. I used 6 coats for my table top and in hindsight I probably could have done a couple more but oh well.

My first coffee table build is in the wraps! I used GF High Performance Satin on it and we love it! We get a ton of compliments on it and I even had some requests to build more! The GF shot great through my HVLP gun and clean up was 5 minutes!
