I wasn't actually there but at family's house nearby but it looked like a beautiful place to stay
I'm sad to report that General Elliott Inn closed its doors in late July 2021. Kay has sold the business and moved to Florida.. This has been a favorite place for us for birthday and anniversary celebrations, and excellent wine tasting events, for around ten years. Kay General (and her husband Steve Elliott before his passing) were always gracious and friendly hosts.
SHORT WE WERE TOLD WE HAD NO RESERVATION EVEN THOUGH MY WIFE AND I BOTH TALKED TO HER WHEN MAKING OUR RESERVATION AND PLACING OUR DINNER ORDER IN ADVANCE AS REQUIRED. SHE TOLD US SHE NEVER TALKED TO US. SHE REFUSED TO SERVE US AND TILD US TO LEAVE.
Excellent place for dining & B&B Accommodations. Kay General is a fantastic host and Chef, boasts a stunning home. Definitely worth checking into when visiting Aiken S.C. reservations required.
