Was surprised at my experience and disappointed by both appointments. The first dr ws short and didn't look at my skin. Prescribed something that was not recommended for my skin. Plus left the insurance hanging and didn't give them what was required. The second pa was not much better. Both of them didn't have good bedside manner at all. For utsw I was expecting experts in dermatology and I didn't feel they were at all. The second pa referred me back to my dermatologist and suggested otc supplements. The worst service ever i was willing to pay cash $600 !!!! For a consultation which is pretty expensive but they said they dont have availability they’re booked for few months !!! Obviously They pick and choose their patients and wont help you when uou need help . Dont waste your time and money there
The doctors here are all awesome and I didn’t wait much at all to be taken to a room and then the doctor came in right away so everything went very smoothly. I also made a follow up appointment.
please avoid this department. worst in terms of of doctor experience, expensive medicine and most annoying thing ,they do not response on my chart.
Terrible and incompetent department. All my physicians are at UTSW and this was the first time going to dermatology. Very costly mistakes by their staff that I’m still physically dealing with due to their negligence & lack of proper follow up and communication. I would highly advise against this group.
