Love this place I go to this store every semester to buy my books and for book buy back. They usually have what I need for my classes and the staff is great, very helpful.
Better price than on-campus bookstore They carry most of KSU textbooks at lower price, which is very nice. However, the condition of their used books seems worse than those at on-campus bookstore.
Make sure you attend Kennesaw... I will NEVER buy a book from here again. I do not attend Kenensaw State University, but live in the area and am taking some online classes for a different college. I thought I would look into buying the books I needed from a used bookstore to save some money. When I found General Book Store and bought my books I thought it was an awesome place with a nice staff and a good selection. Aewsome selection, location and prices! I love going to the General Book Store because it is so conveniently located and they always have what I need! It is right off of the interstate and I go by on my way to the mall. They of course specialize in text books, which my children aren't ready for, but we do a lot of learning activities to supplement school and they have such a great selection and prices. My neighbor suggested it to me when I was complaining about how much workbooks cost. Great place-I highly reccomend.
Good pricing on college text books I visisted this location when the my daughter's college bookstore ran out of inventory on a text book she needed, and was pleased to find they not only had the text, but had inventory in used books that was less than the campus location. I later found this to be true for another college as well. From what I understand from neighbors, I believe they may also carry materials for homeschoolers, although I have never personally shopped there for those type items.
Overcharged and Won't Refund I have always chosen to shop here rather than give more money to the university bookstore. Not anymore. PLEASE DON'T SHOP HERE! I just received the worst customer service. I purchased my case studies back at Christmas while I was up in Kennesaw. I just found out other students purchased the same package for $50 LESS. They refused to refund the difference. They state prices are subject to change at any time. We're talking not even a month's difference for the same semester! Kelly was very rude. I'... read more
