Great venue! Very easy to get to if taking public transportation. Instructor was great and made himself available via email for additional questions. My only turnoff was approaching the front desk. There were two people sitting there and not one looked up or greeted me. For somebody who was nervous to be in a class setting again for the first time after 15 years, I did not feel welcomed. What effort does a simple "Hello" take? I looked past it and ended up having a great experience.
A great place of tech centric education!
I wasted $5k in a iOS coding program that did not meet my expectations. GA invented this course promising that we would finished the course with our own app running in the Apple Store. The teachers didn't know how to teach the classes bc they were not prepared to teach iOS at all. They celebrate too much with free pizza and drinks, for that kind of money I was expecting at least to learn from professionals instructors. This program was a disappointment, I wouldn't recommend GA to anyone.
Not an accredited school for obvious reasons. Instructors do not have a formatted lesson plan and just picked a topic and spoke freely about it with lessons created 30 minutes before class starts. This is the most backwards reverse racism institution in San Francisco. They only have a minority and woman hiring initiative. If you are a white male and you don't already know how to code or code off the top of your head they will not help you advance or get a job.
